Stuart S. Hudson


Stuart S. Hudson represents for-profit and nonprofit developers, owners and property managers in a range of transactions involving HUD multifamily affordable housing programs. His expertise includes Section 8 renewals and modifications, rent increases, and transfer and ownership restructuring of HUD assisted properties. Additionally, he represents for-profit and nonprofit owners and managers of affordable housing developments regarding regulatory compliance and administrative enforcement issues, including 2530 clearance, physical condition inspections, and fair housing.

A graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center, Stuart worked as a summer law clerk and student attorney at Georgetown’s Harrison Institute for Housing and Community Development Clinic where he received the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Student Advocacy Award. In addition, Stuart worked as a summer law clerk at the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.
