Michelle R. Poncetta represents for-profit and nonprofit developers, owners and property managers in a range of transactions involving HUD multifamily affordable housing programs. Her expertise includes Section 8 renewals and modifications, rent increases, and transfer and ownership restructuring of HUD assisted properties.

Before joining the firm, Michelle completed a fellowship with AARP Foundation Litigation where she worked on impact litigation projects in the areas of affordable housing, disability rights and consumer protection. While attending the Georgetown University Law Center, Michelle worked as a student policy attorney with the Harrison Institute for Public Law and also interned with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Prior to earning her J.D., Michelle worked in program management as an Assistant Director at the UCLA Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles.
